Objectives

The students are capable of classifying and understanding the socio-political and historical aspects of decisions by the German Ferderal Constitutional Court. Ater the completion of the module, the students are able to critically analyse legal arguments. At the same time the students are able to scientifically deal with a complex problem through autonomous research.

European Law, Regulation of the Health Sector and the MDR/IVDR, role of the European Medicines agency and the European Commission, Effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring medical care in Europe and Germany, market surveillance, new technologies in health care, international affairs, the conflict between data protection and data economy
