Philipp Arnold studied law at the University of Augsburg until 2017, specializing in capital market law.
He completed his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Augsburg from 2018 to 2020. During this time, he also worked for a major global law office in Munich in the field of IT law and data protection law. He subsequently gained practical experience through his work in various law offices in Augsburg and Munich, including in the field of employee data protection and health data protection.
Since February 2025, Philipp Arnold has been a research assistant at the Chair of Law and Security in Digital Transformationof Professor Dr. Dirk Heckmann and is responsible for the research area of data protection law.
