Mobilität.Leben

The project ‘Mobilität.Leben’ was launched at TUM in spring 2022 to monitor the emerging changes in transport (recovery from the pandemic, 9-euro ticket, fuel discount, inflation). The survey was extended until summer 2023 so that the effects of the Deutschlandticket could also be analysed. The project consortium comprises the Professorship of Mobility Policy, the Chair of Transport Engineering, the Chair of Automotive Engineering, the Chair of Economics, the Chair of Policy Analysis and the TUM Think Tank.
The survey method of the study includes a panel survey on up to six survey dates and the use of a smartphone app for the semi-passive creation of mobility diaries for a subgroup of the sample. The project is currently in the evaluation phase.
More info about the project can be found at Hochschule für Politik at the TUM and the TUM Think Tank.
