Pablo Gomez Ayerbe is the Project Coordinator of HEMISPHERES, a three-year Erasmus+ project aimed at strengthening EU-LAC relations by advancing recommendations on inclusive governance, and cross-regional policy innovation through collaborative knowledge exchange and dialogue.
With over eight years of experience across the private, public, and public-private sectors, Pablo has worked at the intersection of technology, governance, and policy implementation. He is currently completing his Master’s degree at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in the RESET program(Responsibility in Science, Engineering, and Technology), where he focuses on the ethical and policy implications of emerging technologies.
Prior to joining TUM, he served as an Advisor at the Presidency of Colombia, where he was the primary liaison between the government and the Expert Mission for AI. In this role, he co-authored Colombia’s Ethical Framework for AIand led the implementation of the country's first privacy-by-design and default regulatory sandbox, a pioneering initiative in the region.
Pablo also gained experience at the OECD, where he worked as an intern, and in the field of foreign direct investment, supporting companies in establishing or expanding operations in Bogotá. His diverse background and interest underscore international policy, AI governance, and digital transformation.
