Dalia Yousif Ali is a Doctoral candidate and Research Associate at the TUM School of Technology and Social Science, working within the Professorship of Societal Computing. Her research focuses on exploring the societal impacts of technology and data science, with an emphasis on promoting equity, ethical innovation, and advancing societal well-being.
Before joining TUM, Dalia worked as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School’s Digital Value Lab, where she studied the effects of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation on organizational performance and value creation. She is passionate about the intersection of technology, data science, and social development, and is dedicated to using these fields to foster societal progress.
Dalia holds an MSc in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Management from Imperial College London and an MSc in Business Analytics from Babson College. She also has a background in Software Engineering, holding a BSc with honours from the Sudan University of Science and Technology. As a Fulbright and Chevening alumna, she is committed to academic excellence and global collaboration.
Earlier in her career, Dalia worked as a Business Developer at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, leading strategic projects in collaboration with organizations like UNDP, the World Bank, USAID, and various governments."
