The debates about the promise and perils of generative AI are in full swing across the globe, with common threads, significant differences, and shades of grey regarding assessments, priorities, and policy approaches. On May 17 - 19, 2023, Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University in collaboration with international partners from the Global Network of Centers, including the TUM Think Tank and members of the Technical University of Munich's generative AI Task Force hosted the Co-Designing Generative Futures workshop, facilitating a globally informed conversation about AI with collaborators from numerous countries and diverse walks of life.
