About Me

I am a PhD student at the Chair of Responsible Data Science, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gjergji Kasneci. I hold an Integrated Master of Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece. For my Master's thesis, I tackled the challenge of Image Captioning, implementing two different image captioning architectures, which provided me with in-depth experience in both the Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing domains. I have also worked on projects involving Recommender Systems and Image Inpainting.

Research Focus

My current research interests center around explainability in multimodal systems, with a focus on non-generative approaches. I am particularly interested in exploring how multimodal systems can contribute to a responsible, unified processing paradigm that aligns machine learning models with human intentions.
